This track came from the recording of a rehearsal/run-through for the piece 'Stations' designed by Andrew McIntosh and myself especially for a backyard gig at my place. 'Stations' involved us both moving from 5 or 6 previously designated stations set up around the backyard, each with a different prepared turntable and object/percussion instrument. We would play these items for a few minutes, before moving onto the next station, all the while carrying a tape recorder to record each episode. The last station involved the playback of the resulting tape recording, along with live sound. Much less-mixed versions of some of this material was released on the 'Stations' cassette (Mazurka Editions, 2013), but here Andrew created a mix of the various episodes at each station overlapping each other. It was recorded on 23 February 2013 (the performance took place the following weekend, which the accompanying photos are from).
