about

All 8 tracks available upon purchase.

1. So Dark (1991) - An accidental debut. On a bus in Geelong, the record button on my walkman gets knocked and what you hear is the walkman's microphone feeding back inside my backpack (previously unreleased).

2. Full Circle (1992) - My first "real" piece. A nine volt battery moved in circular motions across the guitar strings, through an old practice amp that had a "depth" effect. Recorded on aforementioned walkman. This appeared on the "Gosh, I'm So Punk" compilation cassette (sham003)

3. The Haunting (1993) - Guitar feedback moulded into something resembling howling with overdrive and was pedals. Recorded on the walkman.

4. Creeping (1994) - Four clean guitar tracks recorded to four-track. Appeared on the first Undecisive God release "The Different Between Light and Shadow" cassette (sham004).

5 - The Red and the Black (1994) - Two tracks of bass feedback slowed down to half speed. There is also a harmonica in there. Guitar at the end is played with a drumstick. Recorded on four-track. From "The Difference..."

6 - Overman (1994) - Guitar with a drumstick through the strings, and pass playing a rhythm. I recorded the crash cymbal in the laundry, all on four-track. From "The Difference..."

7 - Screwdriver Death (1992) - Improvisation with a screwdriver through guitar strings and using overdrive and wah pedals. Recorded on walkman. From "The Difference..."

8 - Heather (1994) - Similar set up to "Creeping", probably recorded straight after I did that track. Four clean guitars on a four-track. From "The Difference..." and also appeared on the 2001 Undecisive God self-titled CDR (sham015).
